2019-2020 Applications & Admissions

To apply: Parents and guardians should complete an application at evcsbuffalo.schoolmint.net
Due date: Applications for the 2019-2020 academic year are due by April 1st, 2019. 
Applications submitted by April 1st, 2019 will be included in the 2019-2020 lottery.
Applications received after April 1st will more than likely result in a wait-listed position.
Lottery date: Thursday, April 4, 2019 at 6 p.m.

If you are unable to complete the online application at evcsbuffalo.schoolmint.net, you can complete a paper application by doing the following:

Download your application below (scroll down), then complete and return to the school, as instructed on the form. An application must be completed for each school separately, if you are considering applying to both. You can also pick up an application at either school, or call to request an application be sent to you in the mail, keeping in mind the completed 2019 applications are due by April 1, 2019.

  • EVCS Bus Application (The bus application is also part of the registration packet found within evcsbuffalo.schoolmint.net, for those applicants who have accepted a spot after 6 p.m. on April 4, 2019.)
  • *A bus application should only be filled out upon acceptance to EVCS. Applications for the 2019-2020 academic year are due to the district by March 31st, 2019; however, EVCS’s lottery results will not be made public until after 6 p.m. on April 4, 2019.

Admissions Requirements

All Students. All lottery acceptances are preliminary and do not become final until EVCS receives all necessary paperwork, including an authentic copy of a child’s birth certificate, proof of residence, immunization records, and a completed registration packet. This paperwork must be completed and returned within two weeks of notification, or the student’s seat will be offered to the next child on the waiting list.

Kindergarten. All applicants for kindergarten must turn five years old by December 31st of their kindergarten year in order to be eligible for the lottery.

Grades 1-8. For students entering first through eighth grades, EVCS also requires academic records from a child’s previous school, and a copy of the child’s final report card showing whether or not he/she was promoted to the next grade level.
