Danielle Bruno was promoted to Director of Schools of Elmwood Village Charter Schools in July 2022. She is an accomplished and experienced school leader who has served in the field of education for over 25 years. Prior to her six years of service as the principal of EVCS Days Park, Mrs. Bruno served as a classroom teacher, gifted education specialist, science resource teacher, instructional coach, and school administrator. Mrs. Bruno has taught graduate level courses in Gifted Education, and was recognized as Teacher of the Year by the Northern Virginia Council for Gifted Education. She was a founder of the Universal Pre-Kindergarten program in the Kenmore-Tonawanda school district, and has piloted early childhood and co-teaching programs with the University at Buffalo and the New York State Department of Education.

Mrs. Bruno earned a Bachelor’s degree in English and a Master’s degree in Elementary Education from the University at Buffalo, and a Master’s degree in Education Administration and Leadership from The George Washington University. She holds active certifications in Elementary Education, Gifted Education, and School Administration and Supervision.
