11 Jul Welcome, Hertel Assistant Principal Cwynar!

We are pleased to welcome Andrea Cwynar (pronounced “swiner”) as EVCS Hertel’s new Assistant Principal, who will work closely with Principal Liz Fisher. Assistant Principal Cwynar brings a wealth of experience to our community. She holds BS.Ed and MS.Ed degrees from SUNY Buffalo State, and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Educational Leadership from SUNY Stony Brook. Over the past 11 years, she has served as a K-6 Writing Teacher, 3rd Grade Teacher, Instructional Coach, Staff Development Specialist/Technology Integrator, and Dean of Students. Ms. Cwynar’s core values align with those of EVCS, and she will contribute to creating a culture of support for our students and families.
